About me.
I am extremely passionate in working with young people and families going through challenging times, as it is never easy seeing the people you love suffer. The joy I have felt when watching the young people, I have had the honor to work with accomplish their goals is indescribable. This is what creates meaning in my life and what drives me.
Cycling is my passion and creates a sense of freedom and stress relief when I need to decompress and remember what it feels like to be a kid again. I have spent the past 10 years racing bikes all over Canada and the U.S.A. and have built friendships and connections that will last a lifetime.
Something that I feel is lacking in sport is the support for young people when life as an athlete ends due to an injury or retirement, and identity crisis occurs.
Who am I? What are my options? What now? I want to help guide young people in the next chapter of their lives as well as prepare athletes for the future. The fear, anxiety, and dark thoughts can be crippling but there is a way out and light at the end of the tunnel.
When I am not at work you can find me outdoors, travelling the world, baking, and spending time with family and friends. Chocolate is my weakness, specifically milk chocolate, and I enjoy nothing more than a nice cup of espresso first thing in the morning.
